I'm crazy about loons and search throughout the lake country for them during the summer. I was excited to find this beautiful parent on the nest. (Don't worry. I was far away from her and used my telephoto zoom lens for this photo.) Can you see the fluffy feathers of her chicks just popping up from under her wings?
